The Challenge

Are you an organization that relies on properly licensed and certified personnel? Do you find that navigating the many organizations and processes cumbersome and inefficient? Are you concerned that licensing and certification credentials may be falsified, opening your organization to liability? How would you like access to a candidate pool that has been verified by the licensing and certification authorities before applying for your position?

Professional licensing and certification is inefficient

Licensing and certifications are managed by both government and professional organizations. Each organization maintains their own records, using a different system and process for both managing and providing the information. While verifying information may be automated, with many organizations it is a manual process, whether that is your HR team accessing their web site or actually having to send a request and wait for a response.

Existing Certifications are scattered and can be falsified

With modern technology, it is all too easy for candidates to obtain a legitimate looking but false set of credentials. With the license and certifications existing in some many places, HR professionals are challenged with verifying credentials, especially with the need to fulfill positions quickly. With a large volume of hiring, verification may not get done soon enough, opening the company to fraud and liability.

The Solution

The Talent Chain provides a pool of candidates that have licenses and certifications verified before the application process begins. To provide this pool of candidates, The Talent Chain:

  1. Requires Candidates to register and add all license and certification information to their personal Talent Chain
  2. Submits the license and certification information to the appropriate authorities and records verification or non-verification
  3. Provides a searchable list of candidates by license and certification type for recruiting
  4. Requires candidates to have the appropriate licenses and certifications before being allowed to apply for your positions

The Technology

The Talent Chain is based on blockchain technology, specifically permission-based blockchain technology. This enables:

  • An immutable ledger, ensuring that information can be added but not deleted or modified
  • Access based on specific roles and permissions, securing access so that, for example, candidate can only add information to their Talent Chain and an Authority can only confirm or deny claimed licenses and certifications for their organization
  • Performing the same change on multiple, independent servers and only allowing the addition of a majority agree the transaction is accurate

More than blockchain technology, The Talent Chain is standalone SaaS platform that can also be integrated with existing job listing and HRMS systems. For staffing companies, employment agencies and HR departments, this provides the ability to leverage existing tools while also having a complete suite use in part or in whole during adoption. And candidates have a single set of verified licenses and credentials, saving costs.
